We All Sing the Same Song

I wanted my first post to be about something I find most interesting and that I think about a lot. So, I am going to start off with a little music knowledge. When someone out there sits down and writes a song, it comes from them, personally, from the heart. That person is feeling this certain way that they are portraying in their song. They have experienced this first hand. The song they have taken their precious time to write is a reflection of them, and they are putting it out into this world to be heard. This song is going to be heard, loved, hated, and judged by strangers to this person everywhere, along with people who are very close to them. This is amazing in itself, in my opinion. My point is however, that these song writers are relating to millions of people around the world, every single day. To me, this points out a huge, should be obvious flaw with society. How are all of these people connected by one simple little thing, such as a song, but yet, we can still all hate one another. Music is the proof that we can all relate to each other in some way or another and usually, if we look deeper and take the time, there is always more. A song is just one of the small things that bring people together too. Have you ever thought about that?
